Homemade chili powder Recipe , Kuzhambu Milagai Thool Recipe

Ingredients:

Dried Red Chilies 1kg

Dhaniya/Coriander 1kg

Milagu/ Black pepper 150gram

Jeeragam/ Cumin seeds 150gram

Vendhayam/ Fenugreek 100 gram

Curry leaves

Stone Salt

Asafoetida/ Hing if you want add this optional

Ulundu/ Urad Dal (optional)

Kadala Parupu/ Bengal Gram (optional)



Method of Preparation:

1. Dry all those ingredients in sunlight.



2. On a low flame roast Black Pepper, Cumin, Fenugreek, Curry Leaves, Urad Dal, Bengal Dal, and Rock Salt. Once the aroma rises stop roasting and just kept aside to cool completely.






3. Mix the roasted ingredients with red chilies and coriander together.

4. Grind all those spices together. The spicy homemade chilies powder is ready.



5. Use this chilies powder as needed for all kinds of dishes.
